Zentangle Inspired ACEO Art Cards

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing my latest creative project — a series of Zentangle inspired ACEO art cards. These miniature artworks have been such a fun and relaxing way for me to experiment with patterns, shading, and collage elements.

What are ACEO Art Cards?

If you’ve never heard of ACEOs, they stand for Art Cards, Editions, and Originals.

They are tiny pieces of art, the same size as a standard trading card (2.5 x 3.5 inches), making them perfect for collecting or trading. ACEOs are actually a spin-off of ATCs (Artist Trading Cards), but the main difference is that ACEOs are created with the intention of being sold, not just traded.

These cards come in all sorts of styles and mediums, and you’ll often find them on platforms like eBay, Etsy, and at art shows.

My Zentangle Inspired ACEO Series

Below is my full collection of artwork from this series!

It combines hand-drawn Zentangle inspired patterns using my new Faber Castel Pitt artist pens, along with a collaged magazine cut-out of a woman’s face.

I’m experimenting with shading and layering to really make these little artworks pop — and I’m loving how they’re turning out!
