Hey guys! Today I’m sharing some digital art I created for the Glowing Gone campaign.
This is a campaign sponsored by The Ocean Agency, Adobe Stock and Pantone raising awareness about the mass die off of coral due to warming ocean temperatures. Over 50% of the world’s coral reefs have died in the last 30 years, due to human activity!
Amazingly, some corals give off beautiful bright colours as a last-ditch attempt to survive these oceanic heatwaves.
The Glowing Gone campaign has called for artists to create work supporting this initiative, using the specific colour palette created by Pantone for it.
Want to create art that means something? Want to help save the oceans coral which is dying at an alarming rate? Check out the Glowing Gone campaign and create something yourself to help spread awareness of this major problem which will certainly affect the future of our planet!
If you wind up creating something for this campaign I’d love to see your work! Tag me @julieerindesigns on Instagram or @julieerindesign on Twitter in your entries!

Hey guys! I’ve filled up my pocket-sized moleskine sketchbook with drawings so I thought I would share some of them with you all!
Please excuse the terrible lighting in the photos. At least I did my nails so they don’t look like total crap!
I particularly like how the owl on the top turned out. The tiny cat studies were super fun to draw.
All drawings were done using either Pilot Fineliner Pens or regular old office pens and highlighters!
Most are inspired by images I found online, except for the abstract ones.
If you like my sketches I would love it if you shared it on Pinterest or elsewhere!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little sneak peek into my sketchbook. Hopefully it will give you some inspiration for your own drawings 🙂
